Ivana Baquero Macías was born on June 11th 1994 in Barcelona Spain. This Goya Award-winning actress has starred in hit movies like Pan’s Labyrinth and Rottweiler.

Ivana Baquero was chosen from 1,000 girls for her role in Pan’s Labyrinth. Guillermo Del Toro, who directed Pan’s Labyrinth said she was perfect for the role.

The Anarchist’s Wife is one of Baquero’s latest films, set in the unsettled time of the Civil War in Spain. She plays the supporting role of Paloma, a 15-year-old girl. The film is now in the post-production stage, and is due to be released in 2008.

She is also signed for the title role in John Connolly’s new horror film, The New Daughter, with Kevin Costner. This will be her first American role.
